Propane is a fuel for the future that consumers have relied on for over 90 years. It’s a gas. It’s a liquid. And it’s one of the world’s cleanest, most versatile sources of energy.

Propane is a by-product of natural gas processing and petroleum refining. It is a clean burning energy source recognized for its transportability and ease of use relative to alternative forms of stand-alone energy sources. It burns cleaner than coal, heating oil or gasoline, and it often costs less than these fuels or electricity. Commercial propane combustion does not emit large amounts of carbon dioxide and produces no sulfur dioxide or particulates – primary causes of the greenhouse effect and acid rain. In fact, using propane can reduce the carbon dioxide emissions attributable to heating a home by as much as 75%.
